Before your cleaning
Your booked service
Your confirmation defines the service, rooms, add-ons, and conditions included. Tell us before the appointment about changes in property size, condition, access, occupants, pets, utilities, or requested work. If the scope is materially different, Lemondrop may revise the price or time with your approval, limit the work to the booked scope, or reschedule.
Preparing the property
Provide safe, timely access; working water and electricity; a reasonable indoor temperature; and enough cleared space for the booked work. Secure valuables, fragile or irreplaceable items, important papers, medications, weapons, and cash. Identify delicate surfaces or special-care materials before work begins.
Pets, hazards, and safe working conditions
Keep pets safely secured when needed. To help us work safely and protect your home, Service Professionals do not use ladders or move furniture. If you would like an area behind or beneath furniture cleaned, please move the furniture before the appointment. Inside-cabinet cleaning must be booked in advance, and cabinets must be completely emptied before service.
Biohazards, active infestations, severe hoarding, weapons, threatening or inappropriate conduct, disconnected utilities, uncontrolled animals, illegal activity, unsafe structures, or materially different conditions may cause an area to be skipped or service to be refused, paused, or stopped. A Service Professional may leave immediately if they reasonably feel unsafe.

Dirt Code guide & time estimates
Time estimates assume the booked scope and a Moderate home condition; they are not fixed-time guarantees. If conditions are heavier, we’ll discuss any recommended change to time, price, or scope before proceeding—no surprises.
LIGHT
Recently or routinely maintained: Light dust, smudges, crumbs, or floor soil, with little grease or soap buildup. The booked routine-cleaning scope normally fits.
MODERATEESTIMATE BASIS
Typical lived-in condition: Ordinary dust, fingerprints, crumbs, pet hair, and moderate kitchen or bathroom buildup. This is the basis for the standard time estimate.
HEAVY
Buildup visible in several areas: Heavier grease, soap scum, dust, pet hair, floor soil, or detail work beyond routine maintenance. Added time, price, or a revised scope may be recommended.
EXTENSIVE
Widespread or long-standing buildup: Multiple booked areas need intensive scrubbing or detailing and materially exceed the booked scope. A Deep Clean, revised service, or rescheduling may be recommended.
How it is applied: Examples are representative. We assess overall buildup across the booked areas—not one isolated spot. Access, clutter, hazards, and added requests are evaluated separately.

Payments & important policies
Payment method, service fee, and temporary holds
A valid working payment method must remain on file unless Lemondrop agrees otherwise in writing. Lemondrop may collect card information and submit it to our payment processor, which stores the payment method for future authorized charges. A service fee is charged in addition to the cleaning-service price and may be charged to the payment method on file.
Up to 24 hours before service, Lemondrop or its payment processor may request a temporary authorization for the estimated booking total. If approved, your bank or card issuer—not Lemondrop—temporarily holds or sets aside the amount. This may reduce your available balance or credit, but the funds have not been transferred to Lemondrop and it is not a completed charge. If the appointment is moved or canceled, the authorization will be voided or released, but your financial institution controls when the funds or credit become available again; this commonly takes several business days.
The payment method may be charged for the booked service, service fee, approved add-ons or price changes, applicable appointment fees, and any offer-specific amount separately accepted in writing.

After service
If something was missed
Inspect the work when possible. If something within the agreed scope was missed, contact Lemondrop as soon as possible—preferably while the Service Professional is present or within 24 hours after service. We may request photos or details. Depending on the circumstances, the resolution may be a correction, follow-up visit, service credit, or another reasonable solution. Completed cleaning services are generally non-refundable.
Photos and service records
Lemondrop or the Service Professional may take reasonable before-and-after or condition photos to document scope, quality, damage, safety concerns, or service issues. Personally identifying or promotional use is subject to the complete Terms and applicable permission requirements.
We’re here to help
From booking through follow-up, Lemondrop is your point of contact. If scheduling, illness, safety, quality, or availability requires a different Service Professional, we’ll coordinate the change for you. Send schedule updates, payment questions, special requests, scope changes, or service concerns to Lemondrop so we can help quickly and keep everyone informed.
Recurring-service offers, when applicable
Lemondrop may occasionally make a recurring-service offer to eligible customers. An offer applies only if it is presented to you and you accept it in writing. When applicable, the written offer controls the special pricing, required visits or frequency, exclusions, rescheduling rules, and any early-cancellation amount. If you accept an offer but do not complete its stated commitment, the payment method on file may be charged only as described in the offer you accepted.
Keeping service safe and workable
Every appointment depends on safe conditions, accurate booking information, workable access, valid payment arrangements, and respectful communication. If a concern arises in one of these areas—or with suspected fraud or repeated policy issues—Lemondrop may pause service and contact you to determine the best next step. Depending on the circumstances, that may include adjusting or rescheduling the appointment or, when necessary, ending future service. When practical, we’ll explain the decision by text or email. Immediate action may still be needed to protect people or property.
